Frequently asked questions about Home delivery

Is the functionality available now?

No. The dedicated own-delivery workflow is in development and will launch later in the Nexus Retail ecosystem.

Will customers need to install an application?

Online ordering is available directly in the browser, without customers installing a dedicated application.

Will the order automatically reach POS & Orders?

The workflow is designed so online delivery orders enter the same Nexus Retail ecosystem used by the location.

Can the order also reach the Kitchen Display (KDS)?

Yes. For orders requiring preparation, the workflow will be able to continue to the Kitchen Display (KDS).

Will couriers have a separate application?

A dedicated delivery-team workflow is planned, showing couriers the relevant information for the orders they collect.

Will it be possible to track the courier on a map?

The exact tracking features will be defined as the delivery solution is finalized.

Does in-house delivery replace Glovo and Wolt?

No. It is a separate channel. Glovo and Wolt integrations can remain in use, while in-house delivery provides an option for orders handled directly by the location.

Will delivery zones be configurable?

This functionality is part of the planned direction for delivery. The final configuration will be presented at launch.
